Shot List

Scene 1: INT Dark Garage

1. WIDE of ELLIS walking into the dark room lit by spotlight, sits down on a chair with her guitar. 

2. Closeup as she strums a chord and looks into a camera

“Do you believe in true love? Let me tell you my story…”

Fade out

Scene 2: INT Bathroom

1. Medium shot Ellis turns on the light and looks in the mirror

2. Match cuts to the same shot, she’s doing different things to get ready in the morning (brushing teeth, skincare, etc)

3. Closer shot of her staring at her green face in the mirror, sighs wistfully to herself

Transition closing the medicine cabinet door

Scene 3: EXT Park

1. Wide shot head-on Ellis walks along the sidewalk as little kids throw rocks at her

1. Additional tracking shot from the side if possible

2. Low angle shot Ellis looking up

3. Medium shot Livi on bench, looks up from her magazine and meets Ellis’s eyes

4. Wide shot of the two of them staring at each other. They run off into the distance

Scene 4: EXT/INT Witch Hut

1. Wide shot Ellis walking around

2. Wide shot witch appears

3. Zap turns Ellis green

Scene 5: INT Montage

1. Head-on shot Ellis and Livi on the couch watching movies together

2. Low angle shot of them in bed together reading Livi’s magazine

3. Continuous quick cuts building the room together (montage time lapse type thing)

4. Wide of full room (maybe pan)

Scene 6: INT Bedroom

1. Finishes out the montage, closeups on Ellis and Livi’s faces after they’ve finished the room

2. Closeup on their hands joining, the green fades away

3. Medium Livi backs away distressed

4. Medium on Ellis’s face as Livi runs away

5. Medium showing Livi running out and slamming the door behind her

Scene 7: INT Crashout (still bedroom)

1. Another kind of montage of Ellis tearing the room apart

1. Closeups on her face, she’s crying visibly upset

2. Medium shots / closeups of her ripping things apart

3. Wide shot of the room at the end

2. Closes out with a wider shot of Ellis on the floor with all this destruction around her

Scene 8: EXT Outside walking

1. Wide shot Ellis walking around in different places (the streets, the park, etc)

2. Mirror the initial shots from the park

3. Closeup on her face defeated

4. Mirror shot of park bench, Livi vacated

Scene 9: INT Dark Garage

1. Ellis walks into dark garage, a different angle than at the beginning

2. She starts again

Script

Scene 1: dark garage

Opens to a dark room with a spotlight overhead. Ellis (green) walks into frame and sits down on a chair with her guitar. She strums a chord and looks into a camera

“Do you believe in true love? Let me tell you my story…”

Fade out

Scene 2: ellis bathroom

Ellis turns on the light and starts getting ready

She looks at herself wistfully in the mirror   

Scene 3: outside in the park??

Ellis is walking along the sidewalk as a bunch of little kids start throwing rocks at her

Livi is sitting on a bench reading her green Playboy, she looks over at Ellis as Ellis meets her eyes

Scene 4: witch hut (i don’t know what this will be)

Ellis has flashbacks to when she was cursed by the witch

Ellis is normal in these scenes she isn’t green yet

She wakes up the next day and is shocked that she’s green, she can only get back to normal when she’s found true love

Scene 5:

Ellis and Livi flashcut montage of the two of them together

• Watching movies on the couch

• Laying in bed going through Livi’s green playboy

• Ellis and Livi building her green bedroom together

Scene 6: Ellis's room

Livi’s made a room for Ellis in her house, she shows it to her it’s green and shit

Ellis is really happy and whatnot

Cut back and forth between Ellis singing and the room

They join hands and Ellis’s green starts to fade off of her

Livi is distressed cause she’s a chaser and she only likes green people, so she runs away

Scene 7: ellis crashout

Ellis turns green again

Ellis rips apart the room, tearing green streamers or whatever off the walls/ceiling

Scene 8: Ellis running away

Ellis is on the STREETS.

Eventually she comes to her senses and tries to find Livi again cause she needs to turn normal again

She goes back to that same place at the park and finds the bench empty this time

She walks around until she finds herself in the dark garage

Zoom out as Ellis picks up the guitar and plays it alone

Song: "Creep" by Radiohead

Corresponds with highlighted scenes in script
